SHERRILLS FORD u2013 It was hard to tell who was having their best day of the year: the 50-odd Rotarians from the Denver/Lake Norman Rotary Club, or the foster children with their families who attended the annual Foster Kids Day at the Lake. The event this year was held at Camp Dogwood on June 13, where the children and their families could swim in Lake Norman and, even more enjoyable, ride in boats owned by Rotarians. An average of 75 children, plus their families, attend each year.
