Good afternoon VCPUSD families, Earlier today at Valley Center Middle School a community member with no connection to students or staff entered the VCMS front office seeking assistance.u00a0 He had a knife in his possessionu00a0that he turned over to staff immediately.u00a0 Law enforcement was contacted straight away.u00a0 No threats were made and the campus, students, and staff remained safe throughout the short time this person was in the front office.u00a0 A big thank you to the VCMS staff and admin who responded and to our Sheriff’s Department for their quick response.
